Can  I register for an additional class/cohort after I have completed one?

Yes. However, the goal of the Futureproof Me program is to ensure each graduate obtains meaningful employment in their respective area of study.

Can you help me obtain employment while in the program? 

Absolutely! Our qualified team of workforce development specialists will work with you to help you look for gainful employment while in training if you desire.

What if i am unsure about my eligibility for the program?

What is required to complete an application/intake form?

All you need to complete your initial application is your basic demographic information (name, address, telephone, e-mail, etc.) and some form of identification, we will help you with the rest!

Are background checks required?

No. Background checks are not required for enrollment in training. However, once you have completed training, some employers may require you to complete a background check as a condition of employment.

What sort of education do I need to enroll?

Educational background needs for each training may vary. If you do not have a high school diploma/GED you can enroll in some of our trainings, however, there are some that require a minimum high school diploma/GED.

What certification do I obtain after completion?

Each one of our Vocational Trainings will result in an industry recognized credential. Learn more Here.

My application/intake is completed, what happens next?

Once you have completed your application/intake form, you will be contacted by a VETWorkS liaison to attend orientation.

What are the hours of each class?

Class times will vary by vocation. The average student can expect to attend class Monday through Friday in either morning or afternoon classroom hours. Morning sessions run from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. while afternoon classes run from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

What kind of career/salary can I expect in my field?

Each one our fields of study has been carefully chosen for its trending growth in the labor marketplace. With our strong network of "anchor" employers, graduates can expect above industry standard incomes.

What is included in the training program?

VETWorkS Vocational Trainings are all inclusive. There is NO COST to the student once enrolled into programming. 

Can I take more than one course at a time?

No. Only one vocational training can be taken per cohort. 

What happens if I need more time to complete my course?

All of our students will have follow-up support for an additional 3 months (90 days after graduation. If you need additional time let your case manager know, and we will be glad to help.

How long is each cohort?

Each cohort is 12-15 weeks in length with an additional 12 weeks (3 months) of follow-up.

Am I responsible for any fees?

No. There is NO COST to the student once enrolled into programming. 

What materials will I need to begin classes?

Students should bring basic needs, notebook, pen, etc.
